#TBT: “A Find”, v.2.0
This was first posted July 9, 2009. I know someone who found something and then, wonder of wonders, returned it to the closest owner available. Her husband is a carpenter and was remodeling an old cabin. Tucked away in the bottom of an old cabinet, was this. Absolutely gorgeous, is it not??? Hand-tooled… spectacular. It…

Mountain Time
Since we took the blood samples from the heifers yesterday, they were ready to be hauled up to their mountain pasture. Now, historically, this trip is known for RAIN. Sure enough, scattered thunderstorms were predicted. Luckily, the rain held off until after we were done! It was a fast and crazy ride… cool weather, good…

A Simple Thing
Things are never simple. I drove up to the Mesa Pasture to check the water for the cows. Someone must do this every day. I had Quinlan and Lorelei at the time. We pull up to the three water tanks at the top of 500′ Otter Creek Canyon. No water in the first tank, 1/3…
