What To Do?

Posted on November 15, 2019November 15, 2019

Today, we went and picked up our new-to-us dining table and chairs. Everything is sturdy and solid. I really like them… but……

#TBT: “Ooohhh… Wyoming Wind, v.2.0”

Posted on November 14, 2019November 14, 2019

This post was originally written November 14, 2008. Tucked away as we are, sheltered from traffic and people and other disturbances, it still comes as a shock when the infamous Wyoming Wind blows.  Now I basically grew up in Casper, Wyoming (since I was 12), and it is famous for its wind.  Gusts in the…

Vintage Trailers

Posted on November 12, 2019November 12, 2019

What is it about those 1950’s trailers, repainted and repurposed instead of sitting abandoned… I love ‘em… So… grab some perfectly shaped cobbles from the creek, wash ‘em, and start painting! Aren’t they cuuuuuuuute? And I like those old pickups, too…

Treasure Beach

Posted on November 11, 2019November 11, 2019

Because I needed some rocks for a craft I had in mind… I recruited my local work force. Nothing like a good rocky beach for discovering all sorts of treasures! Tomorrow I will share what I’ve been working on.

Keepers

Posted on November 10, 2019November 10, 2019

Those young heifers that have made the cut to become the replacements for our older cows that we sold needed some work. They have had their eartag that matched their mommas’ since birth. Now they get their grownup numbers and tags. This heifer is cooperative, showing off her little black tag. Black tags mean her…

Dangerous Beach

Posted on November 8, 2019November 8, 2019

Imagine it. A beach with worn stones, from bagel size to bread loaf size. A virtual minefield for broken and twisted ankles. To make things even more interesting, let’s take those bare stones, and cover them with a layer of moss. Not the kind that’s thick and luxurious, but the kind that’s thin and slimy….

#TBT: Dirt, v.2.0

Posted on November 7, 2019November 7, 2019

This was first posted November 10, 2008. What began as an invigorating hike morphed into one of those meandering strolls, like Lucas and I experienced here.  But instead of Lucas being exhausted, it was me!  I feel so good lately, I go out and try to do activities like I did before my PE incident.  That…

Pro Photos

Posted on November 5, 2019November 5, 2019

You’d think looking at 430 photos would be boring! Not so with this family! Holy cow! I’ve laughed and giggled and snorted and rolled my eyes! Please note: Victoria and her family prefer not to be on the internet. This doesn’t mean they weren’t included! You’ll just have to come to my house to see…
