Annual Hike

Posted on April 7, 2019April 7, 2019

Posted on April 6, 2019April 6, 2019

Keeping Herself Pretty

Posted on April 5, 2019April 5, 2019

Most people don’t think of cows grooming themselves much like cats do… but this black and white filter makes it easy to see where she’s been licking and keeping herself looking pretty.

Sic Itur Ad Astra

Posted on March 31, 2019March 31, 2019

Thus One Goes to the Stars… A Latin phrasing often referring to immortality…  “thus one goes to the stars : such is the way to immortality” I’m not sure how I ran across the photo online… but I found myself looking at one of the most exceptional statues I’ve ever seen. I was determined to find it…

First Time

Posted on March 30, 2019March 30, 2019

Four days away. Get home. Change my shirt. Head back out to work the brewery benefit for our after school program at the library. I’ve waitressed, but never bartendered. There’s a first time for everything… Thanks, everyone, especially the Ten Sleep Brewery! Not sure of our total yet, but somewhere around $300 was raised. Now,…

LL&P

Posted on March 29, 2019March 29, 2019

More fun in Laramie… but a spring snow had to blow through Wyoming, and we only made it halfway home. That’s fine. I’m hanging out at my brother’s house in Casper for the night, letting braver people go forth and clear off the roads. I do have to get home in the morning since the…

What Fun

Posted on March 28, 2019March 28, 2019

Well, I’m down in Laramie attending a library training covering the summer reading program theme of “A Universe of Stories”. This year is actually the 50th anniversary of the moon landing! Yeah, I know… that went by fast! 😉 Anyway, the State Library was nice enough to bring up some people from Boulder, Colorado who…
