Sage Chickens

Posted on March 24, 2018

One of the signs of spring here in Wyoming, is the strutting of sage chickens.  When we first moved to Wyoming, I remember my dad waking me up before daylight, and driving miles out of Casper to a strutting ground, also called a lek.  As the sky turned, the males appear, puffing out their chest…

#TBT: “First Born Cradleboard”

Posted on March 23, 2018

A Throwback Thursday of my daughter, Victoria, asleep in the cradleboard I made for her.  I still have it, of course, I used it for the boys as well.  I really didn’t know what I was doing when I made this… but it served us well for many years!

Their Turn

Posted on March 19, 2018March 18, 2018

Posted on March 17, 2018March 16, 2018

I received this item a couple of weeks ago, and have been raving to some of my friends about it.  I decided to do a product review.  They do not know who I am, and I am not paid to do this.  My only incentive is to share my views about a good product with…
