Quick Introduction

Posted on July 1, 2018

I’d like to present to you… Buttercup! A friend gave her to us!  She’s a miniature horse, not a pony… and very sweet.  Obviously good for braiding manes and tail!  She also came with a cart, which I just repaired today… that will be an adventure for us!  Vernon and Johnny will have to help…

I’m So Excited

Posted on June 30, 2018

The list of “Things-You-May-Not-Know-About-Me” would probably begin with with the fact that I have a bachelor’s degree in anthropology.  I actually worked as an archaeologist way back in the Before Time… so, you can imagine how I get excited about cultural things. Posted on June 27, 2018

Change of scenery for my not so baby chicks… It’s a handy place to start baby chicks… out my front door a few steps… but they’re almost a month old, and they’re ready for more space. Into the dog crate they go for their short journey. They’re a mix of Red Sex Links, Buff Rocks,…

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
