There’s more to come… but for now… my new favorite photo… Santa Baby!
Magic in the Air
We need a little Christmas… I spent today decorating my tree… I don’t have any personal ornaments on it this year. I just decided to go with a different look. It is gold and red… with pinecone shaped glass ornaments, red beads, jinglebells, gold ribbons, icicles, and red berries. A large bow tops the tree,…
Puppy Photos…Better Late than Never! Part Five
Well, this will be the last time I take a “formal” portrait of this litter. The rest of the photos will be adventurous and candid photos… enjoying them the last week they’ll be here. The time has gone extremely fast… and I’m finding myself behind on many of the typical chores I do for them….
Tracking a Monster
The clouds have lifted a bit and warmth is supposed to return this weekend. The high is due to hit the 30’s… which means an increase of 60 degrees from the other morning. Although some days it snowed all day long the accumulation is pitiful… perhaps a couple of inches. Needing to “air” ourselves out……
Wordless Wednesday – “Red Rock – Red Dog”
Lucas stands in front of our red rocks from the Chugwater Formation.
Frosted
The weather hasn’t been exactly balmy here… Currently it is -28 and falling… I’m grateful for my electricity and warm house… The puppies have 2 heat lamps and an insulated dog house… The cold doesn’t bother the big dogs very much. Like today when we headed up to the Mills place. Dally, Boomer, and Lucas…
Brave Sadie
The past few days have been rather chilly… We awoke to -20 this morning… It makes going out for long periods of time with the puppies a smidge painful. If I’m not freezing… they are… If it’s below 10… it seems like their paws stick to the snow more and they put on a pitiful…
Lucas’ Acupuncture
I thought I’d share some of Lucas’ acupuncture treatment he received a few weeks ago on my Casper trip. This is by far not all of his appointment, which actually took almost 2 hours… but I believe it is remarkable how he took it all in. We went to Ten Mile Clinic in Casper, Wyoming….
HappyDance
Yesterday we gathered up the last 50 yearling bred heifers for sale in Riverton Tuesday. It gave Dally the chance to practice something fairly repetitive since we had done this just last week. I’ve dumped her out of the pickup and am sending her in a straight line the way she is facing. That meant…
Puppy Photos…Better Late than Never! Part Four
Rimrock’s Sadie Lady… ready to follow a person no matter what… she’ll be an English Shadow for sure! Rimrock Devon… my English gentleman is definitely the diamond in the rough… I’m liking him more and more… He is full of the ‘chase’ instinct and looks! Rimrock Liberty… she’s classic in style… and I should have…
Too Close to the Action
Today was one of those Gotta Do It Days, where you just have to complete those unwanted but necessary items of life. That included a trip to Cody for a doctor visit, hopefully one of the last where the lingering effects of my blood clot, pulmonary embolisms, and coumadin treatment are discussed. I’d just as…
Wordless Wednesday – “There’s a Puppy in Her Pocket”
Toffee snuggles into Victoria’s coat pocket during our snowstorm the other day… ************************************************************************* THE LINK FOR THE 2010 GREET RANCH CALENDAR IS NOW ON MY SIDEBAR TO YOUR LEFT! ENJOY!
