Happy sixth birthday to Quinlan!!! It’s flown by so fast… and you’ve brought so much joy to all of us in these past six years!
So, it’s been quiet and just “different” without Dally around. As her Guard Dog position warranted, she was Number One Barker to alert me when anyone drove by… even Brandon… six times a day… Lucas and Eden are MUCH quieter without her. You think you see her… running along the fence… sneaking behind the couch…
This is quite the load of hay… No date.
A relative posted this the other day, and at first glance, I assumed it was the old house on our place. But things don’t work out… the porch is wrong, did the garden go all the way to the creek?… or am I just looking at this all wrong??? Someone help me figure this out! …

There’s just something about those wooly chaps of Fred Greet’s… there are many old photos of visitors and relatives, trying on the wooly chaps and playing at “being a cowboy”. Here, Fred has roped a visitor in the chaps and cowboy hat. She also is pictured on horseback at a distance and on the corral…
Since some of you are suffering through a heat wave… This goes back to 1930’s? winter time… snow on the ground… Herefords on the hill. (Thanks to J.A.G. – who posts old family photos so I can steal some of them and post them here!)
Just to prove some ways just work the best for us… No date.
