Office Pets

Posted on July 13, 2016July 12, 2016

Longmire Days – Day Three

Posted on July 11, 2016July 11, 2016

Made my way over the ‘hill’ again to Durant (Buffalo), Wyoming and even home before midnight! Attended a talk with Craig Johnson and Robert Taylor at the new and improved Johnson County Library (just reopened a month ago and IT IS GORGEOUS!). Went to a concert in the park with local entertainer Jalan Crossland. Now,…

Rodeo Pics

Posted on July 7, 2016

Treat

Posted on July 3, 2016July 2, 2016

While we provide salt and mineral to our cattle… they aren’t the only ones that benefit. Often other animals will come to the salt lick and lick and chew at the dirt.  Salt seems to escape its containers… they will be shoved or kicked over, or rain will wash some through some cracks in their…

Pay Day

Posted on July 2, 2016July 1, 2016

We shipped our steers to their buyer in Nebraska. It’s what we’ve worked for since these steers were born in the spring of 2015.  It’s pay day. It’s also a chance for 4 generations to work together… well, kinda… he’s getting there! Keep on learning, Jaxon!  You’ve got the best teacher!

Splash Zone

Have you ever been in wet jeans?  I mean like, “jump-in-a-swimming-pool” wet?  Have you tried to peel them down your legs, or pull them back up?  Then, have you tried to move? Like, bend your knees… think… getting on a horse in wet jeans.  Think “Wet Saddle”.  Think “having to get off your horse to…
