Posted on August 8, 2012April 3, 2015

Or maybe not! Remember the game where everyone adds to the story?  A sentence or two to set the scene and the tale has twists and turns because everyone had their own stories they’d like to tell?  Anyone wanna play? *The thick mist lay heavy on the uneven ground, making their lungs work even harder…

New Country

Posted on August 7, 2012April 3, 2015

I went with Vernon this afternoon to prepare for moving our cattle on Thursday.  Since the Mesa Pasture burned up in our fire, we had to go looking for extra grass… and we found it! I haven’t been up there until today.  We put some salt out to help the cows settle in… they LOVE…

Cute Accessories

Posted on August 6, 2012April 3, 2015

I’ve managed a few days work in my studio… Remember that project? I don’t touch it for weeks, then get a few days of productivity! The electricity has been installed. I’ve filled some hard to reach gaps with foam insulation. I’ve torn down the top row of chicken nest boxes.  They were tipping forward and …

Posted on August 5, 2012April 3, 2015

Stop

Posted on August 4, 2012April 3, 2015

I apologize for last night… I sat down to write and poof! no internet. OH, YAY. I just LOVE when that happens. So, I was blessed with a “night off”, although my half hour of pitiful troubleshooting should count for *something*! Meanwhile. Vernon’s been reworking a tiny reservoir in our mountain pasture… this time he’s…
