Here’s a quick look at some of the items found at Born in a Barn
Ucross Grounds
Ucross Grounds contains two fantastic memorial gardens. Enjoy.
Ucross
Born In A Barn, the fun event I attended yesterday, is located on a country place just outside Sheridan, Wyoming. Now, I’ve been to Sheridan many times, and we usually drive Highway 16 to Buffalo, Wyoming, hit Interstate 90, and fly north to Sheridan. But if I’m driving, I prefer two lane highways to Interstates….
Born In A Barn
After two years of missing this event, a friend and I attended today! Full of vendors and people… and crafts and upcycles and jewelry and clothing and handcrafts and lots of creative people. Enjoy! It was so fun. Thank you, L., my friend, for coming on another adventure with me.
#TBT: ”Eggs and Tomatoes”, v.2.0
This was first posted September 16, 2011. As usual, you guys are so SWEET! Thanks for all the well wishes for little Quinlan! I know Brandon reads this… well, he did before his activity level got boosted up another foot… so, I’m sure these are all getting read and passed along. Thank you SO MUCH….

Riding the Top
Late morning found us on the mountain pasture, gathering cattle for weaning and preg testing. As we decided which way various kids and adults were riding, I voted for riding the top of the ”Bar C” since I hadn’t ridden up there for years. You can’t hardly beat the view… except the Idaho smoke was…

Preg Test Day One
A panorama of the alleyway makes it look like it is u shaped instead of straight. On the left is the vet’s chute and the preg test crew… on the right is Vernon bringing the girls up the alley. I worked alongside, sending the girls closer to the chute, where Victoria encouraged them to enter…
Hard Work and Dedication
I was lucky enough to get some photo albums from a relative in order to take photos of photos… Though I tend to lean towards landscapes and working shots, the majority of the photos are of people. I liked this one, because the young men standing on the right and left are Frank and Fred…
#TBT: How Does He *DO* This?, v.2.0
This was first posted September 12, 2011. About three weeks ago, Vernon’s four wheeler started making “funny sounds”. Honestly, I don’t know *what* was the problem. I am NOT mechanically inclined. Now around here, four wheelers are USED. Not just for running around taking in the scenery on a few trails… but USED. They run…
