Felted iPhone Case

Posted on June 9, 2015

For my first wet felted bag I’ve made… I chose to do a sunflower decorated iPhone case for a friend’s birthday.   With lots of needle felting after the wet felting… I like it.

Posted on June 5, 2015

Cowboys get all the attention…  Good looking, talented guys on horseback… the Quintessential Romantic Cowboy. But at brandings, there are some unsung heroes… the Vaccinators! Usually, but not always, they’re girls.  Not because girls can’t wrestle, Victoria and I have both put in our time holding calves, but because, I think, guys don’t want the…

FAIL

Posted on June 4, 2015

We were home and finished by 6:30 today.  Amazing.  And Vernon cooked a frozen pizza.  Yay!  I fell asleep on the couch for a bit, then woke up to lock up my chickens and feed the dogs. Sidenote from cattle moving: I fail at animal husbandry. I started with two broody hens and about 20…

Only These

Posted on June 2, 2015

Well,  you could definitely see us from the road today!  We branded our big bunch right next to the highway… Lots of work, Victoria and Matt came over to help, some of Tess’ family is here, and the new additions to Ten Sleep, my brother-in-law and sister.  The Little Seven… the Cousin Contingent… was in…

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
