Remembering in the Quiet

Posted on December 14, 2010January 12, 2015

Wow! Here I’ve been sitting on this story because I thought it would only be of interest to my family… and boy, was I wrong!  I’m glad so many of you thought it was touching and fun listening to that old-time gospel music. Maybe next time I need to make a slide show, I’ll use…

The Antlers Quartet

Posted on December 12, 2010January 12, 2015

She ran to me… joy written on her face.  It matched the squeal I’d heard moments before, followed by the quick footfalls down the steps and into my mother’s living room.  She held her hands together, obviously hiding something. “Mom!” “Yes?”,  a quizzical look on my face.  We were sorting through my mother’s belongings… while…

Big Reward

Posted on December 10, 2010March 29, 2015

I’m very excited!  I’ve been working on details in the bathroom… sealing the grout, caulking, lining cabinets, and working on wood trim.  Again, nothing much to share, but exciting enough to me to think I could take a REAL shower in my new bathroom in a few days!  I ran out of caulk with 6″…

Warm Fuzzy

Posted on December 7, 2010December 19, 2014

Pearl Harbor Day… and I think of Uncle A… 19 years old and in the holds of a ship struck that day.  Power was lost and the lights went out… he had grabbed hold of an over head pipe and was hanging in the air.  The darkness was so intense he didn’t know if there…

Your Library

Posted on December 6, 2010January 11, 2015

I haven’t made this Open House/Silent Auction Fundraiser lately because I’ve been going to the sale barn in Riverton with the guys.  I signed up to bring…
