Four Bear

Posted on June 14, 2012April 3, 2015

I debated today on whether or not to make my Q&A Vlog for this month. However, I decided to forget about it… my eyes are puffy, my nose is plugged, and I am sneezing frequently! Yes, once again… it is allergy season for me! Yay. Yippee. Ugh. With luck, Daniel will come up here tomorrow…

Shading

Posted on May 29, 2012October 18, 2014

Instead of working on a Minute Movie for you starring the fox kits… I was busy. I drove 47 miles to get my hair done in Worland. And shopped. And shopped. And drove 47 miles home and unloaded. And changed clothes and reloaded my Durango. And drove 20 miles back to Ten Sleep. And decorated….

Name of the Game

Posted on May 26, 2012October 18, 2014

A little fox kit strikes a pose almost identical to a photo I took for the March 2011 entry on last year’s calendar… This time there are either 4 or 5 kits, although I never seem to catch them! Obviously, at least for those of you living in the general area, this wasn’t taken today! …

Minute Movie: Her Glory

Posted on December 29, 2011April 1, 2015

Couldn’t resist… I had a few seconds of the bald eagle chattering and stretching her leg on video… Not exactly High Drama, but fascinating in its own way! I HAD to make a Minute Movie! Minute Movie: Her Glory from Carol Greet on Vimeo. If you enjoyed this eagle video, you’ll love THE STORY, for…

Her Glory

Posted on December 26, 2011April 1, 2015

The walk… refreshing in 8″ of snow… Canada Geese were flushed from the creekbank… and a visitor was spotted high in the cottonwood. I angled for a closer shot… and tested my zoom. This, dear Camera Manufacturers, is why I need a great zoom on my little pocket camera!  A wing s-t-r-e-t-c-h and chatter and…

Winter Wardrobe

Posted on December 19, 2011April 1, 2015

…I continue my walk. I head for a woven wire gate… easier than climbing over the tight barbed wire!  But there, on the other side, sits a snowshoe hare! He’s taking in the sun, and barely glances at me as I approach. The dogs are off in the weeds somewhere… and I return down the…

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
