Puzzle Blocks

Posted on November 7, 2014November 8, 2014

Little Jaxon will have his second birthday party tomorrow.  Today I worked on one of his presents.  Puzzle blocks.  They turned out so well, I have to share! I cruised through my stash of Little Golden Books… and I found Wiggles.  Published in 1954.  The book is older than I am!  But it had a…

Just Another

Posted on November 4, 2014

We worked at gathering the Double Crossing, bringing the girls to the home corral where we could sort them two different ways… Since it’s a short trip, You Know Who, got to be Cowdog of the Morning. As usual, he was beside himself!  Although it was 10˚ this morning, by the time we’d gathered the…

Wear Some Clothes Today, Eh?

Posted on November 3, 2014

“Wear some clothes today, eh?”  was the recommendation of my husband this morning.  Before  your imagination runs amok, it was his way of telling Victoria and I that it was cold outside and that warm clothing was the order of the day.  So, layered up with fleece-lined jeans and chinks, t-shirt, flannel shirt, sweatshirt, gloves,…

Whoops

Posted on November 2, 2014

Whoops.  Got caught up in watching Nik Wallenda cross the towers in Chicago… And forgot to grab my camera cables out of the bedroom before my guests went to bed… So, no new photos from today’s brilliant cleanout of the chicken coop!  I’m sure you’re disappointed at missing that highlight! The good news is that…

Instead

Posted on November 1, 2014

My original plan for today was cleaning the chicken coop… whoopee.  But high, gusting winds talked me out of having chicken… dust and straw… swirling around me! I voted instead for finishing up my calendar. I got it done, too!  I would have been thrilled to post the link here.  I have one little glitch…

Hitting the Wall

Posted on October 30, 2014

I was going to link to my pictures of Kaycee’s Red Wall the other day… of course, they were ones not restored yet!  Then I began to kick myself, because when I came down from the Big Horn Mountains the other day… the sunset was glowing on the Red Wall, and it was PERFECT.  Did…

Light and Shadow

Posted on October 28, 2014

Seems like I’m just buzzing around like a bee, taking care of these twins!  There’s trips to the park, and story time at the library, and a walk (WALK!) to the store to buy a pumpkin, jack-o-lantern carving, and dog walking and reading and baths and cooking and cleaning and laundry… Whoosh. I’ll take them…

Have and Have Not

Posted on October 27, 2014

I have two humongous cottonwoods in my yard… The one on the left was golden yellow while the one on the right was green… Ten days later… Have and have not! I’m over the mountain helping out with the twins in Kaycee…  Hopefully, tomorrow I’ll have some mountain photos to share… but I must say,…
