There’s also some aged cows… Consider this your notice for the sale on Friday! The day dawned crisp at 4 degrees… They…

Wordless Wednesday – “Off Switch ON”

Posted on December 4, 2013

A Box

Posted on December 2, 2013December 2, 2013

I’m working on an item for our library Silent Auction next week. I chose to use wool, and decided to copy this great vintage Father Christmas card.               I know, why not start with a box?  Or an apple?  NOOOOOO… I have to start with a PERSON for heaven’s…

Easy Life

Posted on December 1, 2013

Tomorrow night is supposed to bring us an Arctic blast of frigid air, with highs in the single digits and snow. I tried to accomplish some preparations before it hits. I split a couple of loads of firewood for the wood stove should the electricity go out! I hung some outdoor Christmas decorations in case…

My Watcher

Posted on November 30, 2013

On these days of highs in the 40’s and 50’s… he still chooses the shade and a snowbank… so long as he can watch me!

The New Girl

Posted on November 25, 2013

Whoooooeee. So, feeling sorry for Victoria, I decided to clean my own refrigerator today…  Ha!  Not really.  I DID clean it, the purpose was to make way for More Food.  Then I cleaned and reorganized the pantry.  Hey, look.  I DON”T need to buy more olives for Thanksgiving! Then there was that short incident about…

How to Clean Your House in Nine Minutes

Posted on November 24, 2013
