I helped Vernon for a bit this afternoon… While I’ve been playing with grandkids, and putting on photography exhibits, and doing/teaching pysanka, and working at the library… Vernon and the guys have been calving out our heifers. In fact, they’ve already calved out 45 or so! I know… they got here fast! And we haven’t…

Photography Show!
Just a quick post before we lay the twins down on the pallet on the floor of the Indian room… They tried to sleep downstairs last weekend with poor results… we’re hoping the warmer Indian room will help tonight! Victoria waited for me in Ten Sleep and helped me organize my photography show! She did…
Join Me
The foam flecks splashed against the rock wall. Sheer and massive, the cliff face had stood since the beginning of time. Chained to it was an old beast. Its slobbering jaws threw the spittle in arcs, through the crisp mountain air, and onto the granite. Fury flamed in the monster’s eyes, and and its claws…

Class Results
Man, it’s late… everyone was having so much fun, class didn’t get over until 10:30! I’m posting the class results and heading to bed! Aren’t our chickens simply marvelous?

Well, this includes the wool roving, but instead of using a needle, you simply wet felt the wool around bars of soap. At some point, I may add some…
Visitors
Victoria and the twins have arrived for the weekend. I’ve waited too late to access any photos… That leaves you out in the cold! So sorry! But hang in here… tomorrow I’ll share my newest project and moneymaking idea.
Wordless Wednesday – “August Memories”
From the archives… Elsa in August…
Spring and Healing
Our first calf out of our heifers arrived today… I haven’t seen it yet, but I imagine once the flood of babies starts pouring over the dam, I’ll be down there, bedding pens and keeping an eye on the heifers. And taking pictures. Speaking of water… the ice has begun to go out of the…
