Cleaning house, folding clothes, organizing… life isn’t very exciting the past couple of days. Normally, I’d be flying over to Buffalo to hang out with author Craig Johnson and the cast of Longmire for Longmire Days. Of course, this year it was cancelled. Well, no, it wasn’t CANCELLED, it went virtual.
On YouTube and Zoom, you can watch the cast, send them questions, and enjoy some good stories. I’ve enjoyed the sessions I’ve seen, with a few more to come tomorrow. I do have to admit, not having to drive the 1.5 hours home at night over the mountain full of deer, elk, and moose is appealing.
The sessions made me nostalgic for the Longmire Days I’ve gone to in the past… and I thought I’d post the link to some of my posts and videos I made back then. I do think I’ve improved some in my videography and editing skills since I made them, but it doesn’t diminish the fun I had!

Dumb question. Please don’t ban me from your site. What is the name of the TV program? I also want to find the books in the library.
The tv show was called Longmire and it is on Netflix. The books are written by Craig Johnson and they’re best if read in order… there are 16 of them! The first one is “The Cold Dish”. There is language in them which some people don’t like, but it is part of one character and I just don’t have a problem with it. If you ever go to Buffalo, Wyoming you can literally walk the streets of “Durant”, Craig writes what he sees, and his written word is excellent.
Ohhhh thank you so much for these links Carol. I will enjoy them over the next few weeks. Just re watched S6 of Longmire a month ago. Looking forward to the new book.
